By accessing or using BERIT ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. BERIT is operated by Benjamin Joseph Hunt ("we", "us", "our").
BERIT is a web-based biblical interpretation evaluation tool. It uses multiple AI models via third-party APIs to analyse and compare theological interpretations across structured domains. BERIT is a research and study aid — it does not provide authoritative theological rulings.
You provide your own OpenRouter API key to use BERIT. Your API key is stored locally in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers. You are solely responsible for the security and usage of your API key. We are not liable for any charges incurred on your OpenRouter account.
You agree not to:
The BERIT evaluation framework, domain structure, subtest methodology, and integrity layers are the intellectual property of Benjamin Joseph Hunt. Evaluation results generated through your use of the Service may be used freely in your own work, with or without attribution.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the email associated with your subscription. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
